UPDATED AUTUMN 2007 The existing two books for this lovely resort on the southern coast of Crete have been updated and combined. There are 17 walks described, of varying lengths and catering for every level of experience, through the coastal areas south of the mountain ridge and through the verdant scenery north of the ridge.
Large-scale sketch maps of Plakias, Myrthios, Sellia and Lefkoyia villages are included in the text of the book.
In addition to the route descriptions, there is plenty of interesting local information, even if you don't do all the walks.
