Teucrium kotschyanum - germander
Norfolk-grown seeds, collected autumn 2009.
This is a rare, small, shrubby perennial, 50-75cm tall, with spikes of greenish-white flowers in summer.
Native to Cyprus, the Greek island of Samos, and SW. Turkey. These seeds are from plants grown from seeds collected in Samos in 1996.
Prefers partial-shade or sun, in a light to medium, dryish soil. Hardy.
Sow the seeds in the autumn, in 7.5cm pots and plant out in late spring. They can be sown, in situ, but are initially a little slow-growing, so need protection from competing plants at this early stage.
20 seeds in this packet.
£1.49, includes UK postage. This item is available for UK customers only.
