Easy online ordering with Marengo via PayPal

Our website allows you to pay online through PayPal with, for instance, a credit card or debit card. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay this way.

The webpage for each item has 'Add to Cart' buttons and a 'View Cart' button.

There are various options for despatch to the UK and for despatch to most of Europe and to Australia/Canada/New Zealand/USA. Please choose the appropriate button for your order destination.

UK Customers Only:
If you do not wish to pay online through PayPal, there are only two other options.
• You can post a cheque to us - see below.
• If you have an online UK bank account you can pay us by electronic (NOT CASH) transfer.

Overseas Orders - outside the UK:
We recommend that you chose International Signed For (ISF) or Air Sure (AS) postal services, as appropriate.
If you order more than one item, using International Signed For or Air Sure, we will refund the excess postage you have paid.
Alternatively, you can email us for a personalized PayPal invoice.

Orders to Switzerland
Customers from Switzerland using Airsure, or buying more than one item using International Signed For or Air Sure
- we will refund the excess postage/and or VAT that you have paid.
Alternatively, you can email us for a personalized PayPal invoice.

Please do not email your credit card or debit card details direct to us.

We cannot take card transactions over the phone.

We do not stock books for retail at our Hunstanton address.

We do not despatch to PO Box addresses.

UK only - paying by cheque

Make your cheque payable to the one word 'MARENGO'.

Make sure you

make it out for the correct amount
sign it
date it correctly

Enclose a note with your name, correct address and correct postcode clearly written. State which item(s) you require, and by which postal method you want them sent. Please also include an email address if possible.

Post the cheque to the Hunstanton address below.

Please do not staple cheques.

Our bank will not accept cheques payable to Marengo Books, Malinger Publishers, Maringoo Press, Meringue Publications, etc!

A cheque can take around two weeks, from the date you post it, to the payment clearance enabling us to despatch the order.

If you make a cheque out incorrectly and have not provided us with an email contact address, we will destroy the cheque and cancel your order.

Product availability

We aim to send out orders for walk books and maps within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Almost all of our products are now made-to-order. Plant checklists take at least 24 hours extra to despatch.

When we receive notification from PayPal of your order, we will send you an email advising the despatch date and confirming your delivery address. Please note that if your email address which is registered with PayPal no longer exists, you will not receive this email.

Returns Policy

Contact us if you want to discuss a refund.

Any refunds will be made via PayPal or by electronic transfer, depending on how the original payment to us was made. No refunds will be made by cheque.

Privacy Policy

When you make payments to us via PayPal, we do not receive any of your credit/debit card details from PayPal other than whether or not your delivery address matches the registered address for the card.

You do not need cookies enabled in order to view all the Marengo components of this website. Marengo does not track or record your web movements after leaving this site.

However, our website has Google search facilities which may place one or more cookies on your computer.

When you make payment by credit or debit card, PayPal may place cookies on your computer to facilitate the payment. See PayPal privacy policy.
