Scientific names of plants

For those who find the use of scientific names ("Latin Names") - such as Bellis perennis - difficult, and think that botanists should be more considerate, just be grateful if you have not yet encountered the following (or worse still, had to spell them out to a group of botanists with notepads and pencils):

Echinofossulocactus zacatecasensis

Fritillaria borealixingjiangensis

Hieracium tschamkorijense subsp. diaphanoidiceps

Muscari sivrihisardaghlarensis

Ornithogalum adseptentrionesvergentulum

On the other hand, what were the circumstances of the naming of Aethionema retsina and Aethionema carlsbergii? Were two botanists getting in the next round of drinks while pondering nomenclature for their new discoveries? Or the more recently named Festuca plonkae...

Sometimes the name is almost manageable, but there just seem to be too many authors involved:

Orobanche georgii-reuteri (L. Carlón, G. Gómez Casares, M. Laínz, G. Moreno Moral, Ó. Sánchez Pedraja & G.M. Schneeweiss) A. Pujadas
