Paeonia lutea (P. ludlowii) - yellow tree peony
This hardy tree peony makes a small shrub, 1.5-2m high, with attractive, deeply divided leaves. RHS Award of Garden Merit, 1994.
The yellow, single flowers are slightly fragrant, about 5-7cm across, and appear from May to June.
It grows best in a sunny position, in a good soil, and preferably not too exposed.
Relatively easy to grow from seed. Start in individual 10cm+ pots in the autumn and plant out the following autumn; alternatively the seeds can be sown in situ in September.
These are very large seeds - five seeds in this packet.
£1.49, includes UK postage. This item is available for UK customers only.
