Walks in Kalymnos - updates & corrections
June 2008. Bob Sykes has advised me of some important changes to the book.
Walk 13
The Pothia-Rina-Pothia bus now turns around at the Rina supermarket, not the seafront square (from where it is out of sight) - and on one occasion in May it departed 10 minutes early.
Walk 14a
The Kefala Cave now has a securely padlocked entrance door - presumably it can now only be visited on an organized tour.
Bob suggests that above Pithari it is helpful to know that the route to the gorge goes to the left of the power lines.
Walk 14b
The route from Kefala cave to Vlyhadia is reported as reasonably well waymarked except about halfway along where it drops towards the sea below a deep goat-pen.
