The little known Canary island of Gomera is just 45 minutes ferry ride from Tenerife.
Spectacularly ravined and lushly vegetated, it has more views per kilometre
than anywhere else we know, and a mild climate that makes walking possible all
year round.

near a small supermarket and the bike-hire shop.
