Plant list for Crete

front cover of book - pic is Arum creticum
This booklet lists plant species recorded from the Greek island of Crete, by Lance Chilton and Nick Turland from 1984 onwards, and in botanical literature from 1930 onwards.

Book first published 1984, updated 1985-2011.

The 52-page plant checklist is a text-only A5 booklet with a card cover, listing species and subspecies recorded for the area. It is arranged alphabetically by and within families, with current taxonomy, scientific synonymy, English names where known, and endemic species marked as such. The booklet is supplied in a tough A5 plastic sleeve.

ISBN 978-1-900802-18-5

Please note we also have plant lists for the areas of Elounda, Georgioupolis and Plakias.

See our 1997-2008 supplement of additional species recorded for Crete and Karpathos, plus taxonomic changes. Well worth a look if you have an interest in the flora of Crete.
