Lance has been travelling to and through Greece for the past 28 years, and has a wealth of experience of the botany and wildlife. He also has an extensive knowledge of the flowers of the Canary Islands, Mediterranean, Italian Dolomites etc.

This is a new service whereby, for a small fee, you can email your photos to Lance, and get a detailed written (email) reply. Two plants identified for £1.00.

How to send pictures. If emailing pictures for identification, please do not email large numbers of large pictures. Picture files should be in .jpg format and less than 1Mb (1000Kb) each. If you have very large picture files, try reducing the overall quality a little, or trim away the irrelevant detail around the edge, or both.
To help identification of the plants in photos, please state (at least) the location and (approximate) date, plus the (approximate) height of the plant and the habitat if these are not obvious from the photo itself.
Please do not send .zip files, as we will not open these.
We will aim to acknowledge all requests as soon as possible, and advise how long a full reply should take. Please do not post actual photos or plant specimens to us, without checking with us first.
