Alcea setosa - Greek hollyhock
This tall (up to 3.5m) perennial, has spikes of pink flowers.
It differs from the ordinary hollyhock in that the petals do not overlap.
Best in full sun, but rather tall for very wind-exposed positions.
Drought-resistant once established.
Flowers July to autumn.
Sow in situ in spring, or start in pots and plant out in spring.
