The geographical area of the list includes Olu Deniz, Hisaronu, Ovacik and Kaya Koyu, plus Belen, Faralya (Uzunyurt), Gemiler, Kabak , Keciler, Kelebek Vadisi, Kidrak, Kinali, Kozagaci, Kirme and Ocakkoy, and the mountains Baba Dag and Mendos Dag.
The flora of the area includes many familiar plants of the eastern
Aegean, but also some remarkable Turkish and Anatolian endemics including the recently named Acer undulatum and Asyneuma babadaghensis.
The plant checklist is a text-only A5 booklet with a card cover, listing species and subspecies recorded for the area. It is arranged alphabetically by and within families, with current taxonomy, scientific synonymy, English names where known, and endemic species marked as such.
